Adriana Candeias - Full-time Year1- 2, Graduated in 2008

"Dear Ellen,

……I have learnt so much during my two years at CPH  - the course taught me the principles behind this healing system and the tools with which I could apply those principles; learning about the human body from both an allopathic and homeopathic perspective, which, related with the energetic paradigms based on the Chinese 5 Elements and other holistic therapies,  really helped explain the interaction between different body systems and mind; and I learnt about other therapies and diagnostic tools to complement my practice (E.g. nutrition, herbal medicine, iridology, kinesiology, etc.).

Seeing patients and taking their clinical case was the best way to put everything I was learning into context, and to develop the practical aspects of becoming a homeopath.  The exchange of experiences and ideas was real and after having worked in the scientific academic world for so long, it was at CPH where I met the most generous scientists, in the truly meaning of the word: thinking people willing to learn, discover, experience, evolve and share knowledge.

Having to learn how to manage my own practice and clients from the beginning of the course, meant that when I graduated after two years I was not afraid of being “thrown to the real life”, I already had patients, and I felt confident I could be a homeopath on my own, continuously learning and developing, attentive to the evolution of society and the therapy.

We learnt to think as homeopaths …the quality of teaching is of the highest standards, with accurate and updated information in many relevant subjects ….support is given generously throughout the course …, the  supervised “hands-on” approach genuinely trains you to become confident in your practice, and you are encouraged to think by yourself, to develop an independent practice, with confidence and an open mind, ready for the challenges of real modern patients.

Best wishes, Adriana"

Sophie Bland - Part-time Year1- 4, Graduated in 2007

"Ellen,

A little over four years ago, a friend of mine suggested I studied homeopathy and a chance meeting with led me to attend an open day at CPH. I immediately felt this was a place where I belonged .....

Since taking over the role as Principal of CPH Ellen, you have turned the college into a centre of excellence that stands alone in it's ability to train homeopaths, ..... You have taken individuals and challenged them to test their belief systems and enabled and encouraged them to discover their own sense of self belief, self worth and self confidence. Not forgetting to mention the first class education that you and the lecturers deliver!

I am truly grateful to you, Tony, Tim et al for the knowledge you have shared, the commitment you have shown and the unconditional support that has been made available to me over the last four years.

I very much appreciate the opportunity I have had in joining you on the first few years of your journey as Principal of CPH and hope that I will be able to continue that journey with you in the future.

Kind regards,"

Carolyne Hallett - Part-time Year 1-4, Graduated in 2007

"Hi Ellen I just wanted to say thank you again for all your help, wisdom and commitment.

I am so proud to have graduated and I know that had you not given the structure to the course that you have I would have struggled.

The way the course is set out is logical, rounded, structured, inspiring and totally practical.

It is down to you and all the lecturers that the class of 2007 are being sent out into the world as capable and prepared homeopaths.

Your dedication and generosity of your time, wisdom, spirit and passion is something I know we all appreciate.

I look forward to going out into the world as a practical homeopath and to coming back to CPGH as a mentor to future students and to doing the post grad course in the near future.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart

love"

Fiona Balharrie - Full-time Year 1-2, Graduated in 2005

"Once I graduated; the feeling was one of euphoria and freedom. I had every confidence to continue to do what we were encouraged to do right from the beginning, go out and get patients and treat them. I was able to put all the practical teaching and amazing expertise taught to us into practice. CPH was the place for me as I would never have felt comfortable in a classical college. I still talk to students today who query themselves as to the choices they made when choosing their college. Many thanks to all at CPH."

Rudi Leuthold - Part

"CPH has a fantastic syllabus and teaches a progressive and powerful approach to treatment of diseases of the modern age. Students get early exposure to clinical practice which promotes rapid learning and a deep understanding of the process of illness and cure."

Maria Truscott - Part
-time Year 1 - 4, Graduated in 2005

"I chose the 4-year part-time course to fit in with my family commitments at the time. The course was awesome; I loved every minute of it. Homeopathy was a completely new subject for me and I felt the quality of the learning environment was superb. Lecture notes were excellent and the timetable was well integrated to cover one aspect (eg digestion) from a number of different perspectives (such as anatomy, physiology, pathology and therapaeutics of the one system at one time). Most valuable was the practical aspect of the teaching and the clinics with individual encouragement given to each and every student to achieve their potential. I strongly recommend this course to anyone with a passion for homeopathy, a passion for learning and an aspiration to make a significant difference to patients’ health and well-being."
