Foundation

One Year – Foundation Course :

I am interested in Homeopathy but not sure I want to become one – can I still join? Yes – it is a big commitment to become a professional homeopath and this course is an ideal introduction to a potential new career.

There is no requirement to continue after the Foundation Level but be warned- many students become totally absorbed in this life changing course. The Foundation Level can be studied via PT Year 1 or by DL Foundation Level. It introduces you to homeopathy in a friendly practical manner.

This course is ideal for you if you

• would like to learn how to use Homeopathy confidently and effectively to treat your family and friends for a wide range of illnesses and injuries.

• are already using Homeopathic remedies and want to know more.

• would like to pursue an interest in complementary health care, possibly leading to a professional training and future career in Homeopathy.

• are already a CAM Practitioner and are seeking to add further skills to your professional competencies.

You will be introduced to:

• an overview of the differences between mainstream and complementary medicine and the history and basic principles of Homeopathy including how remedies are made and how they work.

• the therapeutic uses of homeopathic remedies, flower essences and herbs to treat common complaints.

• how to interpret reactions to remedies, and when to seek professional help.

• the first steps in becoming a qualified homeopathic practitioner.

Information is provided in an integrated way which means by the end of The Foundation Level you will have a good understanding of what it means to be a homeopath and could have already started to see clients if you feel ready to.

We encourage all interested to visit the college for a Discovery Day, sit in on classes and meet with the Course Director or give me a call to see how we can help.
