Licentiate Diploma in Homeopathy

The Licentiate Diploma in Homeopathy:

This course is for people who prefer to study during the week, or who are visiting the UK on a Student Visitor Visa, but who will be practising in other countries. It is also an attractive option for people who are considering a change of career, (perhaps due to redundancy) and looking for a satisfying career that can be started at a later stage in life.

This course combines a strong vocational career-specific, practical and skills-focused approach – alongside an excellent theoretical foundation that leads to a professional qualification in homeopathy.

To understand homeopathy and become a successful practitioner entails developing an alternative perspective on health and this is something that can only be learnt properly, from seeing patients.

This unique emphasis on practical applications leads to students who:

    • have the ability to analyse a case thoroughly and an understanding of the different methods, remedies etc. available to support appropriate prescribing.

    • leave with the ability to appropriately support clients in the use of nutrition and herbs to help in their treatment programme.

    • start seeing patients early on in their clinical training and who are taught how to set up and run their own student clinics as early as possible, preparing them for their own practices by graduation.

    • continually improve their own care of patients through reflection, who can demonstrate safety, competence and maintenance of appropriate professional boundaries and who can practice ethically and effectively.

    • have the confidence and competence skills that allow them to succeed as independent professional CAM practitioners.

Studying at the CPH has been a fantastic experience, in terms of building my own confidence and learning on how to deal with health issues. The methods used to teach are all about empowering students, having fun, and learn to manage our fears…. I have gained all the tools to be a great homeopath, and I have also become a fuller person.
