Ellen Kramer  MCPH is Director and Course Manager for the College of Practical Homeopathy and is the author of ‘Methods of Homeopathic Prescribing’. This book is a very competent exploration of some of the better tested methods in clinical use by homeopaths as well as a good introduction to homeopathy. It is an excellent source for homeopaths, students of homeopathy and other complementary and alternative practitioners to expand their understanding of homeopathy and an extremely useful review and developmental tool for practising homeopaths.

It provides an excellent grounding in the basic principles of homeopathy and how the different approaches used by homeopaths can be understood and used more effectively by practitioners. It covers the whole process from taking a case and a time-line, understanding and using methods appropriately to the use of repertories, therapeutics books and materia medicas and links succinctly with the ‘laws of homeopathy’ and the need for an understanding of nutrition and herbal tinctures. All of this is in a readable, logical, easy to follow style as it explains methods in a practical manner based on some of the best teaching practices available. A ‘must read’ for all those involved in studying, practicing or teaching homeopathy as it gives clear guidelines for the clinical application of multi-method homeopathy and provides a springboard to deeper study of methodologies.

Ellen Kramer MCPH is the Course Director  for The College of Practical Homeopathy (UK) Ltd, who provide the only full time and part time ‘practical ‘training courses in London. She also has busy private practices in Islington and Finchley.She graduated from the ‘London College of Practical Homeopathy’ in 1995. Within three years of graduating she had developed a very busy practice, co-founded ‘The Centre for Homeopathic Education’, and set up ‘The Healthy Living Centre’ in Islington.
